Thousands of years of history come together in Jaffa, one of the world’s oldest cities and the birthplace of Tel Aviv.  Driving to Jaffa is like going through a time tunnel- tunnel – skyscrapers soar on the left, while ahead lays a city with thousands of years behind it.
The main port of the ancient land of Israel, and one of the first ports in the world, Jaffa was a center of commerce and culture, agriculture and tourism, the destination of shipping lines from Alexandria and Beirut.
From the Clock Tower Square, convoys of wagons and camels fanned out to all parts of the land, and pilgrims made their way on foot to the holy city of Jerusalem.

The Nahum Gutman Museum is located here in the home of the artist who immortalized the early days of Tel Aviv and Jaffa landscapes .
Visit  the most outstanding site is the Suzanne Dellal Centre, a bustling dance and theater complex.
Yitzhak Rabin Square  on November 4, 1995, after a huge rally in support of his government’s peace policy in Tel Aviv’s main plaza, in front of City Hall  he was murdered..

 Through remarkable scenery of Dead Sea we’ll continue to Masada which is situated right on an isolated cliff in the Judean Desert. The site has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, King Herod’s palace, the synagogue, bathhouse and much more. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. En route, you’ll see the site of Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Nearly 1,300 feet below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest point on the earth’s surface. Bring your swimsuit as if weather permits it’s possible to “float” on the salty, mineral rich, water.

Through a panoramic overview from the Mount of Olives, discover Jerusalem – the new city and the Temple Mount Esplanade of the old city.

Travel along the Kidron Valley to view the Garden of Gethsemane and the walls of the city. Via the Armenian Quarter, enter The Western (Wailing) Wall square. Pass through the local Bazaar to the Christian Quarter, and get to see the Stations of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre – the site of the crucifixion. Walk along the 1700 year old Byzantine main street, the Cardo and the renovated Jewish Quarter. Ascend to Mt. Zion, and on Saturdays – visit the Hall of the Last Supper and David’s tomb.

Then we will drive through the new city and stop at the  city highlights like the High Court of Justice, the Israeli Museum, and the Israeli Parliament (Knesset).

Walking Tour.
Start tour on Mt. of Olives for view of the Old and New city.
Visit the Patre Nostre and the site of Mary’s Ascension, and view the Prayer of the Lord written in 123 languages.
Walk down to Dominus Flevit, the site where Jesus foresaw the destruction of Jerusalem. Continue to Gardens of Gethsemane,
church of all nations, place where Jesus was betrayed by Judas to the Romans.
Overlook Valley of Kidron to see the tombs of Absalom, Jeosphate and Zaccariah from 2nd temple period.
Enter the old city at Lions Gate to visit Church of St. Anne, the home of Mary and the pool of Bethesda.
Visit the Notre Dame De Sion – location of the striped pavement (Litho Strosos) where Jesus was condemned and where the Via
Dolorosa begins. Return to hotels.

Meet and pick up in Jerusalem from major hotels.
Bethlehem is the birthplace of King David, meaning City of Bread as a result of the wheat crop that grew in the region.
According to Christian tradition, Jesus was born there.
 We will drive to Bethlehem via Nativity Circle, visit the cave where Jesus was born and the Manger Square,
 where Jesus was placed after his birth.
 Also visit the Greek and the Catholic Church and the Milk Grotto, where Mary fed her son.
Overview the Sheperd Fields and visit the church. Return to Jerusalem.

Begin the journey north by travelling along Israel’s scenic coastal plain via the plain of Armageddon to Nazareth.
 In Nazareth visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph’s carpentry.
Onwards via Kafer, Cana to view the Mount of Beatitudes and Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish at Tabgha.

Drive north along the coastal road to Poriya and overview of Sea of Galilee, Jordan Valley and Golan Heights.
Continue to overlook of Hammat Gader and ascend the Golan Heights to Shalom Observatory.
Onwards to the city of Katzrin. The museum and the excavations of Talmudic Katzrin.
Visit the ancient synagogue of Katzrin. Ascend Mt Bental, overlook Kuneitra Valley and the triangular border with Syria,
 Jordan and Israel. Continue and stop at former Syrian fortification. Return south to hotels via Jordan River crossing.
