Thousands of years of history come together in Jaffa, one of the world’s oldest cities and the birthplace of Tel Aviv. Driving to Jaffa is like going through a time tunnel- tunnel – skyscrapers soar on the left, while ahead lays a city with thousands of years behind it.
The main port of the ancient land of Israel, and one of the first ports in the world, Jaffa was a center of commerce and culture, agriculture and tourism, the destination of shipping lines from Alexandria and Beirut.
From the Clock Tower Square, convoys of wagons and camels fanned out to all parts of the land, and pilgrims made their way on foot to the holy city of Jerusalem.
the Mahmuddiyah mosque.
Coffeehouses offering narghiles to smoke along with tiny cups of strong black Turkish coffee create an authentic Levantine atmosphere.
Twenty-two years before the founding of Tel Aviv, Jews left the walls of Jaffa and built in nearby Neve Tzedek. These beautifully restored houses and streets preserve the romance of the early days of Jewish urban settlement.
The Nahum Gutman Museum is located here in the home of the artist who immortalized the early days of Tel Aviv and Jaffa landscapes .
Visit the most outstanding site is the Suzanne Dellal Centre, a bustling dance and theater complex.
Yitzhak Rabin Square on November 4, 1995, after a huge rally in support of his government’s peace policy in Tel Aviv’s main plaza, in front of City Hall he was murdered..
A year later, the monument to Rabin was dedicated on the spot where he was murdered. The Yitzhak Rabin Square
In Tel Aviv you will See The unique Bauhaus building style of Tel Aviv has earned it the “white city” title and from 2003, a world heritage site by Eunesko.

The site has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, King Herod’s palace, the synagogue, bathhouse and much more. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. En route, you’ll see the site of Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Nearly 1,300 feet below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest point on the earth’s surface. Bring your swimsuit as if weather permits it’s possible to “float” on the salty, mineral rich, water.

we drive up north along the coast to the archaeological ruins of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great in honor of Augusts Caesar. Continue historic Tiberias, where Jesus lived, sojourned, and preached on the shores of ten Sea of Galilee. Our next destination will be Capernaum, the center of Jesus ministry. Tabgha, just north of Tiberias, is the site of Christ’s miracle of feeding the 5,000 and at the Church of Multiplication the mosaic floor depicts a basket with loaves and two fishes. We drive on to the Mount of Beatitudes overlooking the Sea, where Jesus preached the “Sermon on the Mount” and it is believed that Jesus picked his 12 apostles. Proceed to Cana to visit the Wedding Church where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine. We proceed to Nazareth, where Jesus spent his childhood, and the Church of Annunciation, built on the site where archaeologists believe the Archangel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary. You’ll also see Mary’s Well and Joseph’s Church. Continue through the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean with its recently excavated amphitheater. Visit the excavations of this beautiful preserved Roman City wich was destroyed in an earthquake and will turn back to your hotel

Close to Jerusalem’s old city and the holy sites, The Olive Tree Hotel, located in Jerusalem’s American Colony neighborhood, offers warm and welcoming first class accommodations. The newly renovated hotel was built around an ancient olive tree that legend has it provided shade for caravans of pilgrims just before entering the holy city. They say that to this very day, when you relax in the hotel’s Olive Tree Garden, you can still hear the strains of King David’s harp serenading pilgrims, even while you are using the latest internet technology which is installed throughout the hotel
