Thousands of years of history come together in Jaffa, one of the world’s oldest cities and the birthplace of Tel Aviv.  Driving to Jaffa is like going through a time tunnel- tunnel – skyscrapers soar on the left, while ahead lays a city with thousands of years behind it.
The main port of the ancient land of Israel, and one of the first ports in the world, Jaffa was a center of commerce and culture, agriculture and tourism, the destination of shipping lines from Alexandria and Beirut.
From the Clock Tower Square, convoys of wagons and camels fanned out to all parts of the land, and pilgrims made their way on foot to the holy city of Jerusalem.

 Through remarkable scenery of Dead Sea we’ll continue to Masada which is situated right on an isolated cliff in the Judean Desert. The site has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, King Herod’s palace, the synagogue, bathhouse and much more. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. En route, you’ll see the site of Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Nearly 1,300 feet below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest point on the earth’s surface. Bring your swimsuit as if weather permits it’s possible to “float” on the salty, mineral rich, water.

Travel along the Kidron Valley to view the Garden of Gethsemane and the walls of the city. Via the Armenian Quarter, enter The Western (Wailing) Wall square. Pass through the local Bazaar to the Christian Quarter, and get to see the Stations of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre – the site of the crucifixion. Walk along the 1700 year old Byzantine main street, the Cardo and the renovated Jewish Quarter. Ascend to Mt. Zion, and on Saturdays – visit the Hall of the Last Supper and David’s tomb.

Then we will drive through the new city and stop at the  city highlights like the High Court of Justice, the Israeli Museum, and the Israeli Parliament (Knesset).

we drive up north along the coast to the archaeological ruins of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great in honor of Augusts Caesar. Continue  historic Tiberias, where Jesus lived, sojourned, and preached on the shores of ten Sea of Galilee. Our next  destination will be Capernaum, the center of Jesus ministry. Tabgha, just north of Tiberias, is the site of Christ’s miracle of feeding the 5,000 and at the Church of Multiplication the mosaic floor depicts a basket with loaves and two fishes. We drive on to the Mount of Beatitudes overlooking the Sea, where Jesus preached the “Sermon on the Mount” and it is believed that Jesus picked his 12 apostles.   Proceed  to Cana to visit the Wedding Church where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine. We proceed to Nazareth, where Jesus spent his childhood, and the Church of Annunciation, built on the site where archaeologists believe the Archangel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary. You’ll also see Mary’s Well and Joseph’s Church. Continue through the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean with its recently excavated amphitheater. Visit the excavations of this beautiful preserved Roman City wich was destroyed in an earthquake and will turn back to your hotel
